The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has commenced a test running of the internet services provided by the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC), wireless broadband project at the various 20 locations of the University.
According to the Lead Supervisor of the Network and Internet Services Installation Team, Mr. Olurotimi Fasunwon (Deputy Director ICT), the team has been very busy with the project in the past 3 months and is currently testing. This is to help resolve whatever observed teething network issues that may be associated with the proper taking off of the internet services at all the designated locations on campus.
According to the Ag. Director ICTREC, Mr. Temitope Soretire, the project would be fully handed over to the University in the next few weeks.
Consequently, members of staff are hereby requested to connect to the NCC WiFi internet at the 20 locations including the coverage areas where masts have been erected, such as the Sports Centre, Umar Kabir hostel, Science Laboratories, and Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

2. COLENDS.
3. Wole Soyinka Library.
4. Academic Maintenance Building.
5. Information Centre.
6. Veterinary Teaching Hospital and outside surroundings due to the Mast.
7. COLANIM Phase II.
8. Umar Kabbir Hostel and outside surroundings due to the Mast.
9. Student Union Building.
10. Science Laboratories and outdoor surroundings due to the Mast.
11. New COLPHYS Building.
12. DUFARMS.
13. DRIP.
14. Post Graduate Hostel.
15. COLAMRUD Phase I
16. Academic Building 2, opposite Veterinary College.
17. Academic Building 3, opposite Civil Engineering Building.
18. Academic Building 4, opposite AMREC.
