Addressing the recipients, the Vice-Chancellor acknowledged the mobility challenges previously encountered by some Deans and assured the University’s continued efforts to improve working conditions. According to him, “This is part of our gradual but strategic approach to addressing mobility issues across the University.” He reminded the beneficiaries that the vehicles remain the property of the University and should be used responsibly for official duties to ensure longevity and optimal value.

He described the gesture as “timely and highly motivating,” noting that it would significantly enhance the capacity of the Deans to discharge their duties effectively.

This was followed by another round earlier this year for Prof. Gboyega Adebayo (Postgraduate School), Prof. Festus Adeosun (Student Affairs), and Prof. Iyabode Kehinde (COLBIOS).
