Earlier in his Opening Remarks, the President of FAMWEF, Prof. Sikiru Olorode, expressed deep appreciation to members for their unwavering support and attendance despite prevailing economic difficulties.

A key highlight of the AGM was a sermon delivered by Dr. Afiz Musa, Director of the Insight Institute for Islamic and Technical Studies (Mahadul Baseerah), Abeokuta.

His lecture, titled “Economic Hardship: A Model and Modest Way Out,” provided valuable insights into addressing economic challenges. Dr. Musa stressed the need for men to take responsibility in addressing issues identified by women and highlighted the dangers of overreliance on financial economies, which often lead to social vices and instability.

He urged members to be trustworthy, change their mindset, engage in agriculture, and practice prudent financial management by saving for future needs.
