The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), through its Directorate of Research, Innovation and Partnerships (DRIP), is set to organise a One-Day Capacity-Building Workshop for recipients of the Institution-Based Research (IBR) grant, as part of efforts to strengthen research capacity and enhance effective research management within the University.

The workshop, scheduled to hold on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Green Chamber of the University, is themed “Conduct of Research and Management.” It aims to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge of best practices in research implementation, administration, and accountability.

The programme is expected to bring together beneficiaries of the IBR grant alongside other key stakeholders to explore strategies for improving research quality, ensuring compliance with established standards, and enhancing the overall impact of scholarly outputs within the University.
