The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), through its College of Food Science and Human Ecology (COLFHEC), is set to host the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) Grant Writing Training Programme, as part of efforts to strengthen research capacity and boost grant acquisition among Academic staff.

A memo issued by the Dean of COLFHEC, Prof. Adebukunola Omemu stated that the Opening Session of the training programme would hold on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the CAEDESE ICT Room.

The training, organised under the auspices of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), is designed to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills for developing winning grant proposals. It is expected to draw participants from various Academic units across the University, thereby promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, innovation, and research excellence, in addition to enhancing the competitiveness of its researchers in securing international funding and advancing high-impact scholarly work.
