FUNAABSU Fetes VC At 58

Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta Student Union (FUNAABSU) Executives have felicitated with the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kolawole Salako on his 58th Birthday with the presentation of a commemorative personal portrait.

Appreciating the Student Union body, Professor Salako thanked the Adeola Ahmed-led Administration for the presentation.

Reiterating his support at making the University world standard, the Vice-Chancellor told the Student Union that Management’s interest is in the welfare of the students and their academic and moral wellbeing as well as making the University world class.

He noted that the University has her students all over the world and they are doing well in their various callings.

He stressed that, “The environment might be limited, but in spite of the limitations, our students are doing well”.

Professor Salako charged them as students leaders and youths not to get angry unnecessarily, but rather dialogue with Management if there is any pressing issue to address, assuring that Management would listen to them.
