The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, International School (FUNIS) has joyously celebrated the outstanding success of its students in the just-concluded 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
In a recent announcement from the Ag. Principal of the School, Mr. Olusola Ilori, it was disclosed that a total of 52 students participated in this year’s UTME, with an impressive 92.2% achieving remarkable results of scoring above 200.
In the breakdown of the scores, 9.6% of the students scored between 300 and 330, while 28.8% scored between 269 and 299, including 238 and 268, respectively.
In addition, 25% got between 207 and 237, while 7.7% scored between 176 and 206, showcasing the academic prowess of FUNIS students.
Highlighting individual achievements, Master Adeshola Jibola secured the highest mark with a total score of 326, closely followed by Master Odunsi Samuel, who obtained 310 marks and Miss Falaiye Oladipupo with 306 marks.
Expressing pride in the accomplishments, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, has commended the School’s Management and other members of staff for the laudable milestone, urging them to continue to uphold the esteemed reputation and standard of the School.
