The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta International School (FUNIS) has once again affirmed its status as a citadel of academic excellence, with its students delivering outstanding results in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The highest score was an impressive 334, while the lowest stood at a commendable 238.

These remarkable achievements reflected the school’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, discipline, and holistic education. Notably, no student scored below 200, reinforcing FUNIS’ reputation as one of the most academically vibrant secondary schools in the country.
In recognition of this feat, the Vice-Chancellor of FUNAAB, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, congratulated the Principal of FUNIS, Mr. Olusola Ilori, as well as the entire teaching and non-teaching staff. He lauded their dedication, resilience, and the impactful role they continue to play in nurturing future leaders.
Speaking on the achievement, Professor Kehinde remarked: “This outstanding performance is a reflection of the collective effort of the school leadership, teachers, supportive parents, and the relentless drive of our students. It also mirrors the University’s broader commitment to fostering academic excellence from the foundational level.”
