The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), today, January 23, 2025, hosted its 111th Statutory Governing Council Meeting, marked by optimism and a focus on advancing the University’s agricultural legacy.
In his Opening Remarks, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Council, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, Odundun IV, Asoludero, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji Land, highlighted the importance of the meeting as a platform to build on FUNAAB’s successes and drive impactful decisions benefiting both the University and society.
He emphasised the significance of the upcoming 32nd Convocation Ceremony, commending the Agricultural Equipment at the Agri-Machinery Road Show and Research Product Exhibition as a monumental success. The Exhibition showcased innovative breakthroughs in crop production and animal research, including technological advancements, reinforcing FUNAAB’s pivotal role in modern agricultural practices and its contributions to food security and sustainable development in Nigeria.
