The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, has been inaugurated as the Grand Patron of the Kegites Club, Ilya du Lisabi, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB). The ceremony, held at the Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building, marked a significant moment for the University Community and the club, which is renowned for its cultural advocacy and promotion of African heritage.
The Inauguration ceremony featured vibrant cultural displays, traditional music, and a reaffirmation of the club’s commitment to nurturing a deeper appreciation for African traditions among FUNAAB students.
Meanwhile, the club has been commended for its dedication to cultural preservation and unity among students. Their continued support for initiatives that promote inclusivity, academic excellence, and social harmony within the University cannot be over-emphasised.
