The Nimbe Adedipe Library, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has encouraged researchers, Academic staff, Postgraduate students and Undergraduates to explore the FUNAAB Chatbot as a digital tool for supporting research, academic writing and information discovery.
The Chatbot was designed to provide members of the University Community with an additional digital resource for asking questions, exploring academic topics and supporting learning and research activities.
The FUNAAB Chatbot could complement existing scholarly resources by helping users navigate ideas, develop research-related inquiries and enhance their academic activities.
Users can access the platform by visiting https://chatbot.funaab.edu.ng/ and begin exploring its features.
Users can also combine digital tools with established scholarly resources, including the Library’s databases, electronic journals, books and institutional repository, to ensure the quality and credibility of research outputs.
Meanwhile, emphasis was laid on the importance of verifying information, facts and references generated or obtained through digital platforms against authoritative and credible sources before using them in academic work.
The initiative is part of the Library’s efforts to promote effective use of digital technologies and information resources in advancing teaching, learning and research at FUNAAB.
Researchers and students are therefore encouraged to explore the FUNAAB Chatbot and other Library resources as complementary tools in their pursuit of knowledge and academic excellence.
