The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), is set to hold its 116th Inaugural Lecture on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, with a focus on green technology and environmental sustainability.
The Lecture, titled “Harnessing Green Technology for a Sustainable Future Environment,” would be delivered by Prof. Babatunde Saheed Bada, a Professor of Environmental Management and Bioremediation in the Department of Environmental Management and Toxicology, College of Environmental Resources Management (COLERM).
Scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at the Prof. Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building, guests are expected to be seated by 1:30 p.m.
Prof. Bada’s academic expertise spans Environmental Management, Soil Science, Environmental Control and Management, and Bioremediation, fields that are central to addressing contemporary environmental challenges.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, would serve as the Chief Host.
