The National Universities Commission (NUC), Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), and GETrust have partnered with the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) to strengthen entrepreneurship education through a 3-Day Capacity-Building Programme for the University’s Academic staff.
Tagged “Teaching Entrepreneurship Using Effectuation,” the Training Programme is scheduled to hold from Monday, September 14 to Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at the Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies (CENTS), Auditorium between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
The programmed was organised to equip Academic staff with contemporary approaches and practical tools for teaching entrepreneurship, particularly the effectuation approach, which emphasises entrepreneurial decision-making, innovation and the effective utilisation of available resources in uncertain environments.
The programme would be facilitated by Dr. Abubakar Adamu of the Department of Business Administration, University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), and Dr. Bola Jenyo of the Department of General Studies (Entrepreneurship Unit), Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun.
The Vice-Chancellor of FUNAAB, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, is expected to declare the Training Programme open on Monday, September 14, 2026.
