The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) Ogun State Chapter has approved the nomination of Comrade Atinuke Jooda into its Political Commission to serve as a member of the administration to reposition the political involvement of the Congress for the advantage of its members.

A Memo dated March 25, 2024, and signed by the State Chairman, Comrade (Amb) Hameed Ademola, informed that Comrade Jooda’s appointment was for four years, which is an indication of her good official track trade record, and undiluted loyalty to the Congress.

The Memo further revealed that the Congress has congratulated her, and wished her a prosperous tenure. It also felicitated the entire University for producing quality Trade Union leaders in both genders.

Comrade Jooda is a Laboratory Scientist at the University’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH), and a member of the National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT). She is also the Women Leader of the FUNAAB Branch of the Association before her appointment.
