The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) on March 27, 2025, hosted the Permanent Secretary (PS) of the Ogun State Civil Service Commission (CSC), Mr. Adesoji Adewuyi, on an official visit to evaluate the University’s examination halls for the conduct of a Computer-Based Test (CBT) for Ogun State senior and middle-level civil servants seeking career advancement.
Welcoming the delegation, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Olukayode Akinyemi, who represented the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde reaffirmed FUNAAB’s commitment to fostering professional development. He noted the University’s capacity to provide a conducive environment for high-stakes examinations, citing its state-of-the-art ICT facilities and proven track record in conducting seamless CBT assessments. He assured the Permanent Secretary of the University’s readiness to collaborate with the Civil Service Commission to ensure a smooth and efficient testing process.
The assessment visit focused on the suitability of the halls and the adequacy of resources for the candidates. In a brief chat with FUNAAB Bulletin after the meeting, Mr. Adesoji commended FUNAAB for its warm reception, well-maintained environment, and dedication to academic and professional excellence.
Accompanying the Permanent Secretary were key officials from the Commission, including the Director of Promotion and Discipline, Mr. Oladipupo Olajide, as well as the Director of Finance and Accounts, Alhaji Basiru Sulaimon, and on the FUNAAB side were the Ag. Director, Information and Communication Technology Resource Centre (ICTREC), Mr. Temitope Soretire and Mr. Olajide Obanla.
