AMREC is headed by a Director who reports through the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development) to the Vice-Chancellor. The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development) is the Chairman of AMREC Board, which comprises other Directors of Academic Units and Dean of Colleges.

There are five (5) Operating Programmes in AMREC, each headed by a Programme Leader.
