Osun State Deputy Governor, Mr. Gboyega Alabi has congratulated the University’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development), Professor Lateef Sanni (and other Executives) over his election as the 2nd National Vice-President of Baptist Grammar School Old Students Association (BAGOSA), Ikire, Osun State.
Speaking after the Inauguration of BAGOSA Old Student Association and the new Executives, the Deputy Governor who is an Alumnus congratulated the Exco for being found worthy to lead the Association.
According to a statement by the new Public Relations Officer of BAGOSA,Mrs Rukayat Adepoju, the Deputy Governor expressed joy over the success of the maiden inauguration of the Association and its Exco.
While assuring of his readiness to contribute his quota to the development and progress of BAGOSA, Mr. Alabi charged fellow Old Students to do their bit in order to compliment government efforts towards educational advancement and general progress of Osun State.
Also elected are Mr. Ridhwan Atoba (National President), Dr. (Mrs.) Iyiola Akindele (1st Vice President), Prof. Lateef Sanni (2nd Vice President) and Prince Wole Adepoju (National Secretary).
Others are: Mrs. Simiat Makinde (Director of Treasury) Mr. Gboyega Adeyemo (Director of Finance), Mrs. Rukayat Adepoju (PRO), Mrs. Ajibola Falode (Auditor) and Mr. Mathew Alabi (Ex-officio) and Representatives of 1985 and 1995 sets.
