Professor Emmanuel S.A. AJISEGIRI is an international scholar of repute. He obtained his Bachelor of Science (BSc.), Master of Science (MSc.) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD.) degrees in Agricultural Engineering at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 1981, 1984 and 1987 respectively specializing in Food Storage Stability. His deep interest in the study of Food Stability won him a Post Doctoral research fellowship at Landtechnik Inst. Der Reiniche Fred. Wilhelm Universitat, Bonn, Germany in 1999.
He has over 29 years of teaching and research experience and has graduated over 100 undergraduate and post graduate students in Crop Processing and Storage. As a prolific author, he has written over 90 scientific publications in his field of specialization in international journals, books, peeer reviewed proceedings, monographs, technical reports and books.
He is a fellow and member of several professional bodies including: Nigerian Institution of Agric. Engineers, American Society of Agric. Engineers, British Institution of Agric. Engineers, European Society of Agric Engineers, International Institute of Food Technologist, Nigerian Society of Engineers, and European Society of Engineers etc.
In his professional calling as an engineer, he is also a consultant and resource person to several international agencies such as World Bank, FAO, UNDP and AAU.
