Short Profile

Dr. Adebiyi A.A hails from Ilaro, Ogun state, Nigeria and holds Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and Masters of Veterinary Clinical Pathology Degrees, both from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and currently undertaking Doctor of philosophy (PhD) research in Veterinary Clinical Pathology.  Dr. Adebiyi joined the service if the University in year 2011 as a lecturer II and has since been involved in teaching, research and extension service. He teaches undergraduate courses in Veterinary Pathology to 300, 400, 500 levels and final year students in the College of Veterinary Medicine. His research focuses on diagnosis and pathogenesis of common diseases of animals, especially haemo-parasitic diseases, with over 17 publications in various local and international peer-reviewed journals. He is a USDA-African Faculty Exchange Program at the Michigan State University, USA in year 2016 and has attended several international and local academic conferences.  Dr. Adebiyi also serves as a Registrar in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, FUNAAB, where he renders diagnostic services.  He is a registered member of the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association and his hobbies include livestock farming, reading and surfing the net.
