Prof J. K. Adesodun, a Registered Soil Scientist of Nigeria (RSSN), joined the services of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta of 18th February 1999 as an Assistant Lecturer and rose to the position of Professor of Soil Physics on 1st October 2014. Prof Adesodun obtained his Ph.D (Soil Physics) in September, 2004 from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka with additional skill on the application of micromorphological techniques for soil quality assessment at the University of Stirling, Stirling, United
Kingdom in 2003. His core research interests include “Soil and Climate Change Studies/Soil Remediation”.
