Fatai Akanni Adewole is a Registered Animal Scientist and a Senior Research Fellow with the Institute of Food Security, Environmental Resources and Agricultural Research (IFSERAR), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB). His area of specialization is Non-ruminant Production and he lectures in the Department of Animal Production and Health, FUNAAB. He has successfully supervised 22 undergraduate projects, 1postgraduate diploma project and 1 M. Agric. dissertation. He has published 14 journal articles and 9 refereed conference proceedings. He won IFSERAR/TETFUND grant to study the effect of sex and strain on the performance of two strains of indigenous chickens in year 2016 and Institution Based Research (FUNAAB/DRIP/40) grant to study Sex Identification of Nigerian Indigenous Chicken using Auto-sexing and PCR methods in year 2022. He is member of Animal Science Association of Nigeria (ASAN), The Nigerian Society for Animal Production (NSAP) and International Society of Organic Agriculture Research (ISOFAR). He is a member of IFSERAR Staff Seminar and Welfare Committees. He has professional certificates in Advanced Digital Appreciation Programme for Tertiary Institutions 2016, Statistical Package for Social Sciences (2018) and Leadership Programme for Agricultural Research and Development in the year 2018. He was commended for his contribution to the success of the University Agric. Fair in 2013.
