DARAMOLA James Olamitibo 

Short Profile

James Ola Daramola earned his B.Ed. Agric in 1990, M.Sc. (Animal Production) in 1995 and PhD (Animal Production) in 2006. His academic career started in the University of Ilorin as Assistant Lecturer (2004) and rose to Lecturer II (2006). He was appointed Lecturer I in 2008 at the University of Agriculture Abeokuta where he rose through ranks to Professor of Reproductive Physiology in 2017. He is a merit award winner of Support Africa International in collaboration with Schweinfurt Foundation, Germany on Sustainable Agriculture in Sub-Saharan Africa. Professor Daramola served as a pioneer Co-ordinator and Head of Progamme, FUNAAB Foreign African Scholarship Scheme (FUFASS), a team Leader and Principal Investigator for several research grants and a reviewer for several international journals. He received Vice-Chancellor’s commendation for outstanding contribution for World Bank African Centre of Excellence. He has to his credit over sixty articles in reputable journals and books. He has mentored and supervised many M.Sc dissertations and PhD Theses. He is a member of American Society of Microbiology and International Goat Association.
