Soil characterization using visible near infrared diffuse reflectance 2017 spectroscopy,
• Examined the potential of using visible near infrared diffuse reflectance spectroscopy for soil analysis with emphasis on soil organic carbon (SOC) and petroleum hydrocarbon.
• Provided evidence that VNIR DRS can be an important analytical approach to soil analysis particularly when and where costs and time are limiting conditions.

Assessment of variability in proximate/anti-nutritive composition 2014 – 2017
and potential of different soil fertility amendments in reducing
oxalic acid accumulation in cocoyam.
• Coordinated a 3-member team with each individual research but all contributing
to a central team of enhancing the potential of Cocoyam as a food security crop.
• Provided data on the proximate composition and anti-nutritive contents of cocoyam available in Nigeria and Uganda.
• investigated the effect fertilizers on Oxalic acid accumulations in cocoyam cormels

• Assessed the quality and shelf – life of catfish and tilapia using different processing methods and stored at ambient temperature
