Dr. Okukenu Oluwafemi Adeyemi is a Lecturer in the Department of Pasture and Range Management (PRM), College of Animal Science and Livestock Production (COLANIM), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB). He graduated at the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria in 2010 with Second Class Upper Degree, and completed his Master’s Degree in Pasture and Range Management in 2014 and Ph.D (Pasture Production and Utilization) in 2017.
Dr. Okukenu is a Forage and Animal scientist with over 10 years of experience in research, teaching, scientific publication, and community engagement. His research expertise covers forage production and utilization, forage conservation, natural resource management, and sustainable agriculture. Dr. Okukenu is passionate about generating feasible solutions to feed challenges in livestock production.
He joined the services of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta as a Lecturer II in 2019; and within this short period he has been carrying out research activities, supervising and training undergraduate students.
He has 31 Publications (both international and local. He has undertaken trainings in AWARD Scientific Writing and Publishing Skills Course for FUNAAB. Dr. Okukenu, Oluwafemi Adeyemi is a member of Animal Science Association of Nigeria (ASAN), Society for Grassland Research and Development in Nigeria (SOGREDEN), British Society of Animal Scientist (BSAS) and is a Registered Animal Scientist (RAS).
