YUSUF Azeez Olanrewaju 

Short Profile

Dr Azeez Olanrewaju Yusuf joined the service of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, on the 24th of March 2009 as a Junior Research Fellow, having emerged as the best graduating student from the Department of Animal production and Health, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria, during the 2006/2007 session. He had since rose to the position of a Lecturer I (2017) due to his outstanding academic performance.
He had his Ph.D degree (2015) in Animal Science (ruminant production option) from Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria. He also hold a Bachelor of Agriculture (Animal Production and Health, 2008) and Master’s degree in (2011) Ruminant Production from the same University. To his credit, he has over 40 research outputs comprising 21 journal articles and 19 referred conference papers. His research focused on sustainable livestock production in the face of recent climatic change, alternative feeding systems and animal health improvement using spice and herbs. He had successfully trained, 3 MSc students, 1 postgraduate diploma student and 28 honours students.
He recently bagged an International Diploma in Animal Feed (2018) from AERES PTC+, The Netherlands.
