Tai Farms Donates Book …In Memory of Revd. Adeyefa

The Coordinator of TAI Farms and Agro Consultancy, Deacon Adeeyo Ishola has donated some copies of a Book titled, “Agricultural Insurance” in memory and honour of the Author, Reverend F. K. Adeyefa, an Agronomist who was the pioneer General Manager of Agricultural Insurance Corporation (AIC).

Deacon Ishola stressed that the Books are given out free to Agricultural institutions, and related firms, most especially farmers and others who are passionate about the development of agricultural business in Nigeria.

Explaining the contents of the Book, he stated that it is all about agricultural Insurance, which is a scheme put in place in 1988 by the Federal Government of Nigeria, to foster and promote farmer’s welfare in Nigeria, stressing that the book is meant to boost agricultural production in Nigeria and will be of great benefit to all agriculture related organizations.

He added that Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta has better advantage to benefit from the Book, being an agricultural institution and the propagation of Agricultural Insurance to the students will help boost agricultural business among the youths, advising students to be committed to their studies so that they can succeed in life.

Appreciating him on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kolawole Salako, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, (Academic), Professor Morenike Dipeolu thanked him for deeming it fit to bring the Books to the University, promising to spread it to Libraries for the benefit of students and Agricultural Scientists.

She prayed for the repose of the soul of the Author whose legacy remains as far as the Book is beneficial to mankind.

In attendance were Mrs. Oluwatoyin Dawodu, Deputy Registrar ll, Vice-Chancellor’s Office, FUNAAB.
