Professor Muyiwa Segun Ayodele
The University’s 33rd Inaugural Lecture will hold this week, Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the Julius Okojie Lecture Theatre Complex, by 3:00pm prompt, with guests expected to be seated by 2:30pm.
The Inaugural Lecturer is Professor Muyiwa Segun Ayodele, a Plant Reproductive Biology and Systematic expert from the Department of Biological Sciences, College of Natural Sciences (COLNAS).
He is equally the Programme Leader, Biosciences Research Programme of the Institute of Food Security Environmental Resources and Agricultural Research (IFSERAR).
The title of the Lecture is “Flowers, Thorns and Thistles: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly Conglomerate Colonizers of Planet Earth”, with the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwafemi Balogun as the Chairman.
