The 2010/2011 Matriculation Ceremony of the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta holds on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the Julius Okojie Lecture Theatre Complex, beginning at 10:00a.m.

Matriculating Students are expected to be seated by 9:45a.m.

A release by the Acting Registrar, Mr. Adeleke Adeboye, informed that matriculating students are required, by regulation, to wear academic gowns to the ceremony.

Academic gowns and caps can be obtained from their various Colleges from Monday, December 13, 2010 on the presentation of receipt for the payment of necessary fees. The release further stated that academic gowns are expected to be returned not later than Friday, December 17, 2010 by 3.00 p.m. as failure to comply will attract a fine of N100.00 per day, to be paid to the University Bursar, while loss of gown will attract a replacement fee of N10,000.00.

Matriculants are also required to sign the Matriculation Register at the Examinations and Records’ Office by presenting proof, showing payment of tuition fees and evidence of having collected and returned the academic gown.

Deadline for signing of the register is Monday, December 20, 2010. Only students who sign the register would be considered as bona fide students of the University, the release added.
