Members of the University Secretarial Staff Association (USSA), FUNAAB Chapter, have elected a new executive, to steer the affairs of the Association. Appreciating members, the newly-elected Chairperson of USSA, Mrs. Cecilia Obembe, thanked God and members for the confidence reposed in her. According to her, “I intend to continue where the immediate past Chairperson, Mrs. Camilla Fatumbi stopped and move our association forward”. She added that her vision and mission for USSA is to “have the commitment, passion and humility to serve USSA. I have the determination to achieve greater heights. I have mapped out strategies that we shall be employing to kick-start and we are going to be all involved”.
She charged members of USSA to give adequate support to the new officers, to drive the association forward. Mrs. Obembe assured that members that elected the executives would work tirelessly and prayerfully with their eyes set on realisingthe objectives set out in her campaign. Elected members are: Mrs. Cecilia Obembe, Chairperson; Mrs. Oluwakemi Johnson, Vice Chairperson; Mrs. Adebola Aina, Secretary; Mrs. Kudirat Shonde, Assistant Secretary; and Mr. Adeshola Neye, Treasurer. Others are Mr. Opeyemi Jejelola, Assistant Financial Secretary; Mrs. Esther Okoh, Public Relations Officer; Mrs. Basirat Olusoji, Welfare Officer; Mrs. Camilla Fatumbi, Ex-Officio I; and Mr. Nelson Omotuyi, Ex-officio II.
