The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Kolawole Salako has felicitated with the immediate past Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development), Prof. Lateef Sanni on his election as Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Science. The University Registrar, Dr. ‘Bola Adekola, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, noted that Prof. Sanni’s election as Fellow was in recognition of his unalloyed commitment to his area of specialty, professional contributions to scientific researches, intellectual accomplishments, and selfless service to humanity. Prof. Salako added that, it is hoped that Prof. Sanni’s wealth of experience accumulated over the years, would be brought to bear whenever he is called upon, to carry out any assignment on behalf of the Academy.
