VC Lauds ‘So-Safe’ Corps

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kolawole Salako has commended the Ogun State Social Orientation and Safety Corps, otherwise known as ‘So-Safe’ Corps for complementing the efforts of other security outfits in providing adequate security in Ogun State. Receiving the Ogun State ‘So-Safe’ Corps, Odeda Division, Superintendent Officer Augustine Ogunseye; Operational Officer, Jimoh Aluwe Seun; and Finance Officer, Kola Ogunnaike in his office, the Vice-Chancellor described them as partners in progress, stating that their support towards the development of the University was highly appreciated.

He said that the corps had been instrumental in ensuring that people co-exist peacefully within and outside the University. Prof. Salako admonished them to keep the flag flying and ensure that they uphold the objectives of their profession, adding that good works would never go unrewarded. On behalf of the team, Superintendent Officer Ogunseye appreciated the Vice-Chancellor for being a good leader and thanked him for recognising the corps as being active.
