The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Professor Felix Kolawole Salako, has affirmed the commitment of the University Management at completing projects before leaving the office in 2022.

Professor Salako disclosed this while featuring on a special edition of FUNAAB Radio 89.5FM live interactive programme, Boiling Point, to commemorate his 4th anniversary as Vice-Chancellor. According to him, “I will continue to do my work without compromising excellence within the remaining one year and try as much as possible to complete projects that have not been completed and leave the rest to God. All my achievements, which are obvious to everyone and can be investigated, are dear to me and it will leave enduring legacies in the minds of the people and students”.

Speaking further, the Vice-Chancellor said “Achieving anything at all is a challenge. There are detractors, but you do not allow that to form stumbling blocks from attaining your goal. My journey so far has been smooth and rough, no matter how you are in life, do not ever think you will not face challenges, but rather know how to manage the situations and move on. I did not coin my vision and mission flippantly, it is a reflection of my personality and belief and they are hundred percent on course and after being Vice-Chancellor, those shall be the kind of vision and mission I will have”.

Professor Salako further revealed that one of his administration’s achievements was the running of the University Dam, assuring all that FUNAAB would soon start having potable and uninterrupted water supply.
