The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Olusegun Mark Obafemi Idowu, is set to deliver the University’s 114th Inaugural Lecture on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the Prof. Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building.
Prof. Idowu, a member of the Governing Council of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), and a distinguished scholar in Monogastric Animal Nutrition, from the Department of Animal Nutrition, College of Animal Science and Livestock Production (COLANIM), would present the Lecture titled, “Feed to Food: Biological Machines in the Hands of a Monogastric Nutritionist.” The event is scheduled to commence at 2:00 p.m., while guests are expected to be seated by 1:30 p.m.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, would serve as the Chief Host of the event, which is expected to attract members of the University Community, researchers, industry stakeholders, policymakers, and members of the general public.
Interested participants who are unable to attend physically may participate virtually through the University’s online platforms.
