The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has notified members of the community of the commencement of an electronic affidavit (e-affidavit) system by the Ogun State Judiciary.

According to a circular issued by the Registrar, Dr. Titus Adeniyi, the initiative was approved by the Honourable Chief Judge of Ogun State, as contained in an official communication referenced CROG/1158/2/11. The development forms part of the Judiciary’s broader digital transformation drive aimed at enhancing service delivery, transparency, and accountability in affidavit processing.

The Registrar advised all staff and students requiring affidavit services to utilise the newly introduced e-affidavit platform through the designated online portal and approved channels provided by the Judiciary.

Dr. Adeniyi further emphasised that affidavits generated via the platform are secure and legally recognised. Each document is embedded with verification features, including a QR code, which can be scanned or validated through the official verification portal of the Ogun State Judiciary – https://oguncomis.ogunstatejudiciary.gov.ng/verification/

The circular urged all members of the University Community to take note of the development and ensure full compliance.
