The 113th Inaugural Lecture of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has been set for Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at the Prof. Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building. The Lecture would commence at 2:00 p.m., while guests are expected to be seated by 1:30 p.m.

Titled “As the Heart Thinks, So It Is: The Story of Parasites,” the Lecture would be delivered by the Director, FUNAAB Zoo Park, Prof. Sam Olufemi Hanacho Sam-Wobo, a distinguished authority in Public Health Parasitology and Epidemiology, from the Department of Pure and Applied Zoology, College of Biosciences (COLBIOS).

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, would serve as the Chief Host. Members of the University Community and the general public are cordially invited to attend the Lecture.
