The Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olusola Babatunde Kehinde congratulates the entire staff, students, and members of the University Community in general, for witnessing the new year,2023.
Felicitating with the University Community, the Acting Vice Chancellor prays to God to make 2023 a year of unprecedented development, peace and progress, in the life of every staff, student and the University, at large.
Prof. Kehinde expresses gratitude to members of the Academic Community for their immense support and cooperation with the University’s Management, especially in the previous year, admonishing them not to relent in their support and prayers in the new year.
He recalls that though 2022 was quite an eventful year in the life of the University, moreso that it was challenged by developments that could be termed high and low, however, with the backing of God, the prayers, and the support of stakeholders, FUNAAB triumphed with remarkable achievements and progress.
Prof. Kehinde charges members of staff to rededicate themselves to work and raise the bar of commitment, in order to enhance service delivery in the new year.
He urges the students to double their efforts by studying hard and avoiding social vices that are inimical to realizing their dreams and the University’s tradition of academic and moral excellence.
The Acting Vice Chancellor charges staff and students to shun and avoid religious intolerance, rancor, and acrimony but to sustain peaceful co-existence, which is key to progress and development.
Prof. Kehinde reiterates Management’s commitment to the welfare and development of staff and students, in order to strengthen enabling atmosphere.
The Acting Vice Chancellor also assures the Community of Management’s dedication to midwifing a credible transition to the Seventh Substantive Administration of the University.
Prof. Kehinde wishes the Visitor to the University, the Chancellor, Governing Council Chairman and Members, the University Senate, the Congregation, Staff, Students, and the entire University Community a Prosperous New Year.
