The Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Babatunde Idowu has charged the students of the University to report whoever is harassing them to the Division.
Prof. Idowu who gave the charge in an interview with FUNAAB Bulletin said Student Affairs Division and the University at large won’t condone any form of harassment or intimidation of student(s) by any member of staff or fellow student.
The Dean urged any student being harassed to heed the directive of the Vice-Chancellor as reported in the media recently by reporting such for proper investigation.
According to him, “Just like the Vice-Chancellor said, any student that is being harassed should come to Student Affairs Division and we will sort it out”.
On accommodation, Prof. Idowu disclosed that “New students have been allotted hostels while ‘stalites’ have also been given hostels except for those on SIWES and FPY”.
He urged students “to register on time, attend their classes, prepare very well for their examinations and if there is any complaint or challenge, they can come to Student Affairs Division and God helping us we will address them with everything that we have in our capacity”.
