The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kolawole Salako has felicitated with royal fathers in Abeokuta on their birthday and coronation anniversaries. The Olubara of Ibara Kingdom, HRM, Oba (Dr.) Jacob Omolade (Lafa II), marked his 87th birthday anniversary, while the Osile of Oke-Ona Egba land, HRM, Oba (Dr.) Adedapo Tejuoso (Karunwi III), celebrated his 30th coronation anniversary. The Vice-Chancellor acknowledged the goodwill enjoyed by the University Management from the Monarchs, noting that FUNAAB would continue to recognise the fatherly roles played by them.

 Responding, Oba Omolade lauded the University Management for placing FUNAAB on a high pedestal to stand tall among other universities and also making Abeokuta proud. He affirmed that the University had been performing greatly since Prof. Salako assumed office as Vice-Chancellor. “I cannot thank you enough for the gifts of various products of your University. Your generosity has shown the traditional rulers in Abeokuta that we have a higher institution and a head that, if given the necessary fund and tools, could feed the people of Ogun State”, the monarch stated.
