The Biotechnology Centre of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) is poised to host its 1st International Biotechnology Conference, a groundbreaking event aimed at advancing global sustainability through cutting-edge biotechnological innovations.
Scheduled to take place from March 12 to 15, 2025, the conference, themed “Harnessing Biotechnology: Pathways to a Sustainable Future,” would convene leading researchers, policymakers, industry experts, and students from across the globe.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, would serve as the Chief Host, guiding discussions on the transformative role of biotechnology in agriculture, healthcare, environmental management, and industrial development.
The conference is expected to serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, fostering collaborations that would shape the future of biotechnology for sustainable growth and development.
