The Directorate of Technologists and Technical Staff (DITTECS) of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), is set to join the global scientific community in commemorating 2025 World Laboratory Day.
The celebration is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at the Red Chamber, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The event would feature distinguished speakers, including Prof. Enock Dare of the Department of Chemistry, FUNAAB, as the Guest Speaker, and Prof. Adeniyi Olayanju, FUNAAB’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Resource Person, as the Keynote Speaker.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, would serve as the Chief Host, while the Director of DITTECS, Dr. ‘Wunmi Abimbola-Okuneye, would be the Host.
This year’s celebration is themed “Education and Training: Building the Future of Laboratory Science,” highlighting the crucial role of continuous education and professional development in advancing laboratory science and innovation.
