The Directorate of University Farms (DUFARMS) of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), today, September 11, 2024, honoured Mr. Ebunoluwa Atinuke and Mr. Shehu Babangida for their dedicated service to the Directorate.

Speaking at the event organised in their honour, the Ag. Director, DUFARMS, Dr. Emmanuel Bankole appreciated the duo for their exceptional work ethics, resource management, and camaraderie. He encouraged other staff members to emulate them, emphasising that every contribution, no matter how small, counted in the workplace.

Other speakers, including the Chairman, DUFARMS Welfare Committee, Engr. Dejo Ogunbiyi, commended Mr. Atinuke and Mr. Babangida, wishing them success in their future endeavours.

Meanwhile, Mr. Atinuke was on Sabbatical Leave to DUFARMS from the Federal College of Education (FCE) Osiele, Abeokuta, while Mr. Babangida, who has transferred his service to Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, was represented by Mr. Garba Sokoto. He had served FUNAAB since 1998, starting as a Farm Attendant.

The highpoint of the event was the presentation of DUFARMS produce and other gifts to the honourees.
