The Zonal Executives of the Egba Molusabi Oju Lankanri Network, representing communities in Adigbe, Ibara, Oke-Itoku, Kemta, and Adatan Divisions, recently paid a Courtesy-Visit to the Director, FUNAAB Zoo Park, Prof. Sammy Sam-Wobo.
The delegation was led by the Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Bello, Vice-Chairman, Ven. Ebenezer Ogundeyi, and Secretary, Mr. Olufemi Ayoola, among others.
Prof. Sam-Wobo, who serves as the Technical Advisor to the Network, has facilitated two successful Zonal seminars, and he also participated in the guided tours of the Zoo Park.
During the paid guided tours of the Zoo Park, the executives who were divided in two groups, commended the University Management under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde for appointing Prof. Sam-Wobo, recognising him as an achiever well-suited to manage the Zoo Park.
They offered their prayers for the continued growth and success of the Park and pledged to promote it further by encouraging more visitors.
Appreciating the visitors, Prof. Sam-Wobo highlighted the Zoo Park’s four main objectives: Education, Conservation, Tourism, and Recreation/Leisure.
