The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) is prepared to host another set of Resource Assessment Visit from the National Universities Commission (NUC), tomorrow, January 9, 2025.
The details of the visit were contained in a Release issued and signed by Prof. Olajide Sogunle, Director, Directorate of Academic Planning. It stated that the visit would focus on evaluating the University’s newly proposed undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including those of the recommended affiliate institutions.
The affiliate institutions to be assessed are the Federal College of Agriculture, Ibadan (FCAIB), and the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Igbo-ora.
As part of the visit, the Resource Assessment Team would pay a Courtesy Call on the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde and the University Management on Friday, January 10, 2025, by 9:30 a.m. at the Red Chamber.
The Release further stated that the meeting would provide an opportunity for the Team to engage with the University’s top leadership and discuss the assessment process.
