The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) is gearing up for the development of its 2026 Procurement Plan as the University begins the process of identifying and submitting departmental needs.
According to a memo issued by the Head, Procurement Unit, Mr. Olukunle Elijah, it stated that all units are expected to compile and forward their procurement requirements for the 2026 financial year, and all submissions are to be channelled through their respective Deans, Directors, and Heads of Units before reaching the Procurement Unit.
The exercise, slated to end on Thursday, December 4, 2025, is part of the University’s ongoing commitment to prudent resource management and strategic planning. It also aligns with the guidelines of the Public Procurement Act (2007) and the directives of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).
Units are expected to submit their needs under the following categories:
🔺 Goods ✓ Agricultural inputs, laboratory equipment, office furniture, computers, stationery, and other essential supplies.
🔺 Works ✓ Office renovation and related construction activities.
🔺 Services ✓ Training, capacity building, consultancy services, and other professional support services.
