The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), in collaboration with the Wellness Africa Foundation (WAF), has commenced a free health and vision screening programme for members of staff under WAF’s Right to Health & Vision Initiative.

Tagged “See to Be Safe”, the programme, which commenced on Monday, August 31, 2026, is holding at the NHIA Building and would run until Friday, September 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. daily. The initiative is aimed at promoting healthy living, early detection of health conditions and workplace safety among staff.

The programme is targeted particularly at Security Staff, including Sheriff Deputies and Drivers, as well as other members of the University Community.

Interested staff members are encouraged to register at the NHIA Desk Office, Directorate of University Health Services from 10:00 a.m. today.
