The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta International School (FUNIS) is set to commence its 20th Anniversary celebrations today with a Jumat Service at 1:00 p.m. at the University Mosque.
This marks the beginning of a series of events designed to commemorate two decades of academic excellence at the school. According to a statement by the Principal, Mr. Olusola Ilori, the celebrations would continue with an Anniversary Lecture on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. in the PTA Auditorium.
The lecture would be delivered by Dr. Emily Adeniji, Deputy Director of Teaching Practice at the Federal College of Education, Osiele. She is expected to highlight the school’s achievements and future aspirations.
The event would be chaired by Mr. Onaopepo Adu, Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Sports Marketing and Administration, with the Osile of Oke-Ona Egba, Oba Alayeluwa, (Dr.) Adedapo Tejuoso CON, Karunwi III Oranmiyan, and Olori Yetunde Tejuoso as Royal Father and Mother of the day, respectively.
The anniversary festivities would conclude with a Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Grace.
Students, parents, alumni, staff, and the general public are all invited to celebrate this momentous occasion.
