For the immediate family members, friends and well-wishers of the late Emeritus Prof. Israel Adu, a former Vice-Chancellor of FUNAAB, it was hard to say “Goodbye” as his remains were committed to mother earth in his home town in Igbara-Oke, Ondo State. Eulogising the life and times of the late former Vice-Chancellor, at the All Saints’ Anglican Church, Iloro Quarters, Igbara-Oke, the Bishop of Akure Diocese, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Rt. Revd. Simeon Borokini, revealed that human beings are related to earth, according to human genealogy and as documented in the Holy Bible. According to the Bishop, God loves all humans and because of this, he charged all to walk with God in obedience in order to obtain His favour. Bishop Borokini described the Emeritus Prof. as an achiever, who touched every life that he came across during his lifetime.

Late Prof. Adu’s remains committed to mother earth.
