SystemSpecs to Launch Innovative Campus App in FUNAAB

In a groundbreaking collaboration, SystemSpecs, a leading technology firm, has concluded plans to partner with the University to introduce an innovative app dubbed FUNAABMobile. The pioneering venture aimed to revolutionise campus life by offering a suite of features geared towards enhancing convenience and connectivity.

Speaking at the collaborative meeting, the Managing Director, SystemSpecs, Mr. Demola Igbalajobi stated that FUNAABMobile was poised to become an indispensable tool for students, staff members, business owners and visitors alike. According to him, “With functionalities ranging from seamless communication to hassle-free payment solutions, the app promises to streamline various aspects of campus operations.”

The app’s communication features would facilitate easy interaction among members of the University community through messaging, business transactions and notifications, as well as utilisation of a wallet system, he noted.

Besides, he stressed that its secure payment system would enable users to conveniently purchase meals, school supplies, and other services within the campus.

Beyond communication and payment, Mr. Igbalajobi said that FUNAABMobile would serve as a comprehensive information hub, providing access to essential resources such as schedules, announcements, and maps.

His words, “consolidating these services into a single platform, the app aimed to simplify campus life and enhance overall efficiency.”

Acknowledging the significance of the collaborative effort, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde said that FUNAAB’s dedication to digital innovation aligned with the company’s commitment to advancing technology-enabled solutions for educational institutions.

He noted that the University has been actively engaged in supporting the project, adding that FUNAAB was committed to realising the full potential of FUNAABMobile.

Present at the meeting were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Prof. Olukayode Akinyemi; Ag. Bursar, Mr. Olukayode Osinuga, and the Ag. Director, Information and Communication Technology Resource Centre (ICTREC), Mr. Temitope Soretire.

Team members from SystemSpecs included the Business Development Manager, Mr. Tereigh Ozakpo, and the Solutions Delivery Manager, Bolaji Ogeyingbo.

Meanwhile, as the pioneering partnership unfolds, SystemSpecs remains steadfast in its mission to digitise campus operations and foster a more connected learning environment.

With FUNAABMobile as the pioneering app for public universities, it’s set to redefine the campus experience that would signal a new era of innovation in public higher education.
