The Federal Government has declared tomorrow, Friday, June 6 and Monday, June 9, 2025, as public holidays to commemorate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
According to a Circular signed by the Registrar, Dr. Titus Adeniyi, it stated that in line with this declaration, members of the University Community are to observe the two days as work-free, with the exception of essential service providers. Regular work activities are expected to resume on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
Additionally, the Circular informed that the University Management has announced that the weekly one-day work-from-home arrangement would be suspended for the week in which the public holidays fall. This temporary adjustment was aimed at maintaining operational continuity and ensuring productivity during the shortened workweek.
The University Management wishes all staff and students a joyous and peaceful Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
