The National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT), has officially presented its maiden journal titled, Tropical Journal for Engineering Science and Technology (TJEST), to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde in his office.
During the presentation, the Chairman of NAAT-FUNAAB, Comrade Joseph Olurinde said that the journal offered a valuable platform for Academics worldwide to publish their research, which would shield them from predatory online Journals.
Five hard copies of the journal were handed over to the Vice-Chancellor for onward distribution to the University Library to make it accessible to the public.
Meanwhile, the Journal’s abstracts are currently available in both English and Arabic, with ongoing efforts to incorporate the French language in future editions, following its launch in Abuja.
